FACILITIES OFFERED:

  1. With the assistance of Govt. of India & Govt. of M.P. a second Cobalt unit Theraton – 780 C was installed in the year 1995. In the year 2004 HDR remote control Brachytherapy machine – micro Selectron was installed. This hospital has sanctioned 92 beds for indoor patient and an operation theatre. All types of chemotherapy is given as indoor and also OPD basis.

    • External Radiotherapy: Machine – Th 780 C, about 100 patients / day are treated on this machine
    • Brachytherapy – HDR remote control Brachytherapy machine – microSelectron.
    • We have also started the process of purchasing 3-D computerized treatment planning system.
    • Cobalt (Theraton) – 780 C Unit
    • Chemotherapy: Anticancer drugs for standard combination chemotherapy regimen are available in the hospital and trained staff is also available to administer these drugs.
    • Surgery: All routine cancer surgeries are carried out here by experienced surgeons from M.G.M. Medical College & M.Y. Hospital, Indore.
    • Morphine: We are providing morphine sulphate FREE of charge to all those patients who require narcotic analgesics to alleviate their pain depending on availability.
    • Indoor patients – 92 beds.
    • Teaching Curriculum : There are both undergraduate & postgraduate teaching programs. The postgraduate (3 year Residency) training leading to degree of M.D. (Radiotherapy).
